Business identity and scope

These Terms govern use of this website and purchases from Propel Automotives Trading Private Limited (“Propel”, “we”, “us” or “our”), CIN U45300TZ2024PTC033168, GSTIN 33AAPCP2835G1ZC and IEC AAPCP2835G.

We trade and export brand-new Indian-market vehicles. Availability, specifications and export eligibility vary by model, destination and date.

02

Quotations and order acceptance

Website listings are invitations to enquire and do not constitute a binding offer. An order is accepted only after we issue a written quotation or proforma invoice and confirm receipt of the required payment.

  • The quotation identifies the model, variant, quantity, price, currency, Incoterm or shipping basis, destination and validity period.
  • Images are illustrative. Final colour, specification, model year and accessories are those confirmed in writing.
  • We may decline or revise an order before acceptance if a vehicle is unavailable, export is restricted or information supplied is incomplete.
03

Prices, taxes and import charges

Prices may be quoted on EXW, FOB, CFR, CNF or CIF terms as stated in the applicable quotation. Indian taxes, freight and insurance are included only when expressly shown.

Destination-country customs duty, VAT, registration, inspection, homologation, port storage, demurrage and local delivery are the buyer’s responsibility unless the quotation expressly includes them.

04

Payments and transaction confirmation

Payments must be made only against an official Propel quotation, proforma invoice or authorised payment request. The payer must verify that the merchant name and amount are correct before authorising payment.

  • Payment schedules, including any booking amount and balance due date, are stated in the quotation.
  • Online payments may be processed by PayU or another authorised payment provider. We do not store full card numbers, CVV or banking credentials.
  • An order proceeds only after the payment is shown as successful and funds are confirmed.
  • Payments from unrelated third parties may require additional verification and may be refused or returned.
05

Buyer responsibilities

The buyer must provide accurate identity, billing, consignee, destination-port and contact information. The buyer is responsible for confirming that the selected vehicle can lawfully be imported, registered and used in the destination country.

Any delay, cost or rejection caused by inaccurate buyer information, delayed instructions or destination restrictions remains the buyer’s responsibility.

06

Sourcing, inspection and specifications

Estimated sourcing times are not guaranteed until the relevant vehicle is allocated. Manufacturer changes, shortages and logistics events may affect timing.

We inspect the vehicle and documents appropriate to the order before shipment. Minor production changes that do not materially alter the agreed model or variant are not treated as non-conformity.

07

Shipment, risk and delivery

Shipment is governed by the Incoterm or shipping basis stated in the quotation and the applicable carrier terms. Estimated sailing and arrival dates are indicative and may change due to carrier schedules, port congestion, customs, weather or events beyond our reasonable control.

Risk and responsibility transfer in accordance with the agreed shipping term. The buyer or consignee must complete destination clearance promptly and pay destination charges when due.

08

Cancellations, refunds and failed payments

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Vehicle orders involve procurement and export expenses; refund eligibility therefore depends on the order stage and costs already incurred.

If an online payment fails but the payer’s account is debited, the amount will be reconciled and returned to the original payment source in accordance with the payment provider and bank timelines.

09

Returns, damage and warranty

Because vehicles are sourced and shipped internationally for a confirmed buyer, routine returns after dispatch are not accepted. Any claim involving an incorrect vehicle, material pre-shipment non-conformity or transit damage must be reported immediately with photographs, shipping documents and inspection evidence.

Manufacturer warranty availability outside India depends on the manufacturer and destination. No international warranty is implied unless expressly confirmed in writing.

10

Website use and intellectual property

You must not misuse the website, submit false information, attempt unauthorised access or use our content for unlawful purposes. Website text, design and Propel branding may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Third-party manufacturer names and marks belong to their respective owners.

11

Liability and force majeure

To the extent permitted by law, Propel is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, destination regulatory refusal, carrier delay or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Neither party is responsible for delay caused by force majeure, including natural events, war, sanctions, government action, labour disruption, carrier cancellation or port closure.

12

Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve a dispute through written communication. Subject to applicable consumer law and any agreed arbitration provision in the transaction documents, courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have jurisdiction.
